Day 1: Stuttgart – Ravennaschlucht
The adventure kicks off with a panoramic drive through the winter wonderland of the Black Forest, leading us to the Christmas market in Ravennaschlucht, spectacularly set beneath a historic railway viaduct. The first night’s stay is nearby, allowing an immersive winter experience.
Day 2: Colmar – Riquewihr
Our journey continues to Alsace: Colmar welcomes us with its charming half-timbered houses, picturesque canals, and a Christmas market that looks like it came straight from fairy tales. Optionally, we could visit the Unterlinden Museum featuring the world-famous Isenheim Altarpiece. In the evening, we proceed to the medieval village of Riquewihr.
Day 3: Sigolsheim – Épinal
A day for reflection: we visit significant US memorial sites, including the Alsace American Memorial (Hill 351) and the Épinal American Cemetery. These sites move not only American guests but eloquently narrate stories of history and remembrance culture.
Day 4: Strasbourg – Return Trip
